Standalone disclosure and authorization
Peyelis may obtain a motor vehicle record or other consumer report for driver eligibility, safety, assignment, retention, or reassignment decisions. The report may include license status, restrictions, suspensions, violations, accidents, and other driving-history information.
When a consumer reporting agency provides the record, Peyelis gives the applicant a clear written standalone disclosure and obtains written authorization before requesting it. The separate MVR screen—not the general application—records identity details, permission, certification, typed signature, version, and time.
Use, review, and adverse action
Only authorized administrators may request or review the official record. ChatGPT does not perform an official MVR check. Decisions use job-related and consistently applied criteria and preserve the applicant’s right to dispute inaccurate information.
Before taking adverse action based in whole or part on a consumer report, Peyelis provides the required pre-adverse-action notice, report copy, and Summary of Rights and allows a reasonable dispute opportunity. Any final adverse-action notice identifies the reporting company and required rights. Screening records are restricted and securely disposed of when no longer required.
Federal screening resources
The FTC requires a standalone disclosure and written permission before an employer obtains a consumer report, followed by required adverse-action steps when the report affects a decision.
