CURRENT POLICYVersion 2026-08-12Drivers acknowledge the current version inside the secure Driver Portal.
Three rules at a glance

You may decline an unaccepted offer. An accepted delivery is a commitment. Safety and honest reporting come before speed.

01

Driver relationship & independence

Availability is voluntary, work is offered individually, and an unaccepted offer may be declined without discipline.

  • No minimum weekly hours are required unless a separate written employment agreement says otherwise.
  • Availability does not guarantee work, earnings, or a particular delivery volume.
  • Drivers may work for other businesses. Accepted Peyelis work must not be combined with overlapping work that makes safe, timely completion unlikely.
  • Peyelis measures the result of accepted work—safe, timely, accurate delivery—not a driver's lawful choice of route or method.
02

Availability & scheduled work

Going Available means offers may be sent. Confirming a scheduled delivery creates a separate commitment.

  • Drivers may go Available, Offline, or publish future availability windows in the portal.
  • A scheduled or recurring delivery is not assigned until the driver explicitly accepts or an authorized dispatcher records a confirmed assignment.
  • Drivers should review next-day commitments when reminded and be ready to check in 15 minutes before the required departure or pickup time.
  • Changing availability never cancels an already accepted delivery. The driver must use cancellation support for accepted work.
03

Offers, acceptance & unassignment

Every offer should disclose the information needed for an informed decision.

  • Before acceptance, the driver should see guaranteed payout, estimated mileage and time, stops, pickup and delivery windows, service category, equipment or qualification requirements, and disclosed toll, parking, setup, return, or special-handling expectations.
  • Declining an unaccepted offer does not create a violation. Acceptance rate may be shown for transparency but is not itself a deactivation threshold.
  • Accepting an offer is an agreement to complete it safely and follow pickup, proof, custody, recipient, and status requirements.
  • Before pickup, a driver may request unassignment for an emergency, unsafe condition, material order change, vehicle failure, or other reasonable cause. After pickup, dispatch must direct the safe completion, return, or transfer.
04

Late arrival, cancellation & no-show

Peyelis reviews the cause and available evidence before applying a reliability action.

  • Report an expected delay as soon as it becomes known. Never speed or drive unsafely to recover time.
  • A driver who cannot complete accepted work must use cancellation support immediately and provide a factual reason.
  • A no-show may be recorded only after the required check-in is missed and dispatch makes a reasonable contact attempt.
  • Verified merchant delays, customer unavailability, dispatch changes, road closures, severe weather, application outages, accidents, and documented emergencies are excluded from driver-fault penalties when appropriate.
  • One ordinary late arrival or cancellation does not automatically terminate access. Patterns are reviewed under the corrective-action process.
05

Pickup, delivery & proof standards

Status updates and proof must be accurate, timely, and limited to what the delivery requires.

  • Use the required status sequence. Never mark arrival, pickup, or completion before it occurs.
  • Confirm package count, visible condition, seal or label reference, and pickup readiness without opening sealed items.
  • Upload required pickup and delivery proof. Avoid faces, unrelated property, personal documents, medical labels, or other unnecessary information.
  • If the recipient is unavailable, contact dispatch and follow the stated wait, leave, return, or secure-resolution instruction. Never retain the item.
06

Catering delivery standard

Catering drivers must protect food quality and complete any disclosed setup requirement.

  • Use clean, verified insulated bags and any equipment disclosed in the offer, such as a cart or drink carrier.
  • At pickup, confirm the package count and visible condition. Report missing, leaking, damaged, or delayed items immediately.
  • The offer must distinguish curbside handoff, room delivery, and setup. A driver is not required to perform undisclosed setup work.
  • Report merchant delay from the portal. Eligible wait pay, parking, toll, oversized-order, return-trip, stairs, and additional-stop compensation follows the amount disclosed for the delivery.
07

Medical & confidential deliveries

Only qualified drivers may receive medical work, and no PHI belongs in ordinary notes or Google Workspace.

  • Follow chain-of-custody steps using the order or package reference—not a patient name, diagnosis, medical-record number, result, prescription detail, insurance information, or SSN.
  • Do not photograph medical labels or paperwork containing PHI. Do not copy, retain, discuss, or share protected delivery information.
  • Verify seals, approved packaging, temperature requirement, timestamps, and authorized business recipient without opening, repackaging, or classifying the shipment.
  • Restricted medical or confidential items may never be left unattended. Contact dispatch for a secure return or failed-delivery instruction.
  • Immediately report a damaged seal, temperature excursion, spill, exposure, loss, misdelivery, privacy concern, or custody break.
08

Safety, conduct & platform integrity

Serious safety, privacy, violence, impairment, theft, fraud, or identity violations may require immediate suspension.

  • Obey traffic laws; do not drive impaired, distracted, fatigued, or while handling the phone. Pull over before interacting with the portal.
  • Harassment, discrimination, threats, violence, retaliation, tampering, theft, solicitation of off-platform payment, and abusive conduct are prohibited.
  • Do not share accounts, falsify identity or location, manipulate time or mileage, create duplicate accounts, or submit false proof.
  • Report accidents, injuries, unsafe locations, threatening conduct, cargo loss or damage, and law-enforcement contact promptly. A driver may leave an unsafe scene and contact emergency services when necessary.
09

Performance, corrective action & fair review

Drivers can see the measures used and challenge information they believe is wrong.

  • Peyelis may review completion, on-time arrival, proof compliance, preventable exceptions, confirmed complaints, and delivery quality.
  • Customer ratings alone do not prove misconduct. Low ratings and complaints should be reviewed with order records and driver evidence.
  • Normal progression is coaching, written warning, temporary opportunity restriction, suspension, and termination. Serious safety, fraud, privacy, violence, theft, or legal violations may skip steps.
  • Metrics must exclude events reasonably outside the driver's control and must not punish a driver for declining an unaccepted offer or reporting a safety concern.
10

Pay, expenses & disputes

Drivers receive the disclosed pay for completed work and may dispute missing or incorrect amounts.

  • The offer displays guaranteed driver pay before acceptance. Optional tips remain separate and 100% are allocated to the driver.
  • Waiting time, cancellation credits, return trips, tolls, parking, and other expenses are paid or reimbursed only under the disclosed order terms or an approved adjustment.
  • Drivers may file a portal dispute for payout, mileage, waiting time, cancellation, tip, toll, parking, return, or other delivery compensation.
  • Peyelis will preserve relevant order records, review the submitted evidence, and provide a written decision. A disputed customer charge never authorizes a duplicate payment attempt.
11

Suspension, deactivation & appeal

Except when immediate safety protection is necessary, the driver receives notice and a chance to respond.

  • A notice should identify the policy involved, relevant delivery or event, action taken, effective date, and how to appeal.
  • The driver may submit context and evidence through the portal. An authorized reviewer who was not the sole original decision-maker should review the appeal when practical.
  • The written decision should state whether the action is upheld, modified, or reversed and what eligibility conditions remain.
  • Emergency suspension may remain in place during investigation when reasonably necessary to protect people, property, privacy, or the platform.

Classification and legal notice

These operational rules do not determine whether a driver is an employee or independent contractor. Classification depends on the actual relationship and applicable federal, state, and local law. Peyelis should obtain state-specific legal review before enforcing discipline, arbitration, classification, or deactivation terms.
