01

Customer Terms of Service

  • A booking request is not confirmed until Peyelis accepts the route, pickup window, service type, price, and payment terms.
  • Customers must provide accurate addresses, contacts, item descriptions, value, size, weight, handling needs, and lawful delivery instructions.
  • For routes over 50 driving miles, each mile after mile 50 is charged at $2.50 and a $25 long-distance fee is added. Other selected services and handling charges still apply.
  • Store/retail and catering requests require a legible purchase receipt. Catering delivery pricing uses an administrator-configurable percentage of the food subtotal plus verified driving mileage, minimums, and selected services.
  • Driver tips are optional and never required to place an order. Any selected tip is displayed separately from the delivery charge and 100% is allocated to the assigned driver.
  • The customer must have authority to release the property and must ensure the recipient is authorized to accept it.
  • Estimated times may change because of traffic, weather, store delays, safety concerns, address problems, or events beyond reasonable control.
02

Same-Day Delivery Policy

  • Same-day requests should be placed at least one hour before pickup. A request within one hour automatically adds the rush-pickup fee and remains subject to feasibility and driver availability.
  • Regular delivery hours are 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Eastern. Requests from 7:00 PM–9:30 PM require after-hours approval and the applicable fee. No request may be accepted when the verified route and handoff cannot reasonably finish by closing.
  • Standard same-day delivery applies within 50 driving miles of pickup. Longer routes require long-distance pricing and administrator review before confirmation.
  • The customer must confirm the item is completely ready before the driver arrives. Retail and catering orders require purchase verification, and medical deliveries use the separate medical workflow.
  • A 10–15 minute waiting grace period may apply. Waiting charges can begin afterward in the published increments. Additional stops are optional order add-ons; each adds total route mileage plus the standard $15 stop fee and may extend the delivery window.
  • Pickup and drop-off addresses must validate and include required contact names and phone numbers. Customers should add business names, apartment or suite numbers, gate codes, and access instructions.
  • Standard same-day package limits are 50 lb and 36 × 24 × 24 inches. Larger, heavier, or oversized items require a separate custom quote based on standard national delivery rates.
  • Illegal goods, unapproved hazardous materials, firearms, and controlled substances outside authorized medical-courier procedures are prohibited.
  • Drivers record pickup and delivery confirmation using timestamps and required photographs, plus recipient name or signature when required.
  • A cancellation fee may apply after driver assignment or dispatch. After pickup, normal cancellation is unavailable. Failed delivery may result in redelivery, return-to-pickup, waiting-time, or safe-resolution charges.
  • Traffic, severe weather, road closures, customer delays, business closures, incorrect addresses, and other conditions outside Peyelis control may affect ETA. Administrators may restrict or suspend same-day service during dangerous conditions.
03

Business Account & Recurring Delivery Terms

  • Business applicants must select the primary delivery type, estimated monthly volume, service frequency, exact start and end dates, commitment length, billing contact, and payment preference.
  • Approved monthly recurring deliveries receive 15% off the applicable standard delivery price when the business commits to service for at least three months. The discount begins only after the account and recurring schedule are approved.
  • The 15% recurring discount does not apply to contractor or job-site quotes and does not remove verified mileage, long-distance charges, rush, after-hours, weekend, holiday, waiting-time, additional-stop, special-handling, tax, or third-party charges when applicable.
  • Contractor and job-site delivery remains available only after a submitted request is reviewed and a final quote is approved.
  • Application submission does not guarantee account activation, credit, Net terms, route capacity, driver availability, or acceptance of any delivery. Peyelis confirms these items separately.
  • Recurring schedule changes, pauses, early termination, cancellations, and missed pickups must be requested through Peyelis support and are subject to the approved business service agreement and completed delivery work.
  • Business customers must keep authorized contacts, addresses, recipient instructions, billing information, and delivery requirements accurate and current.
04

Cancellation, Refund & Failed Delivery Policy

  • Before pickup, any cancellation fee and estimated refund must be shown or communicated before the customer confirms cancellation.
  • If a customer or pickup business cancels after a driver is assigned, the driver must use the cancellation support workflow. The system opens a high-priority admin alert and records one $15 driver time credit for that order; duplicate credits are blocked.
  • Processing, rush, special-handling, waiting-time, attempted-delivery, or third-party charges may be nonrefundable when already incurred and disclosed.
  • After pickup, customers cannot use ordinary self-service cancellation. Dispatch determines whether the item is completed, returned, held, or redirected and may assess additional charges.
  • If a recipient is unavailable, access is denied, the address is incorrect, or an unsafe condition exists, the driver must contact dispatch and document the attempt.
  • Refunds return to the original payment method or approved account credit, subject to processor timing. Specialized quotes may contain separate cancellation terms.
05

Privacy & Data Security Notice

  • Peyelis collects information needed to quote, schedule, perform, document, bill, and support deliveries; manage drivers and businesses; prevent fraud; and meet legal obligations.
  • Sensitive records—including driver documents, receipts, delivery proof, banking information, and medical-delivery data—are restricted by role and retained only as operationally or legally necessary.
  • Payment card numbers should be collected only by the approved payment processor; Peyelis does not intentionally store full card numbers in ordinary order records.
  • Information may be shared with assigned drivers, recipients, processors, insurers, verification vendors, professional advisers, authorities, or business clients only as reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
  • Reasonable safeguards are used, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Suspected privacy or security incidents should be reported immediately to email@peyelis.com.
06

Prohibited & Restricted Items

  • No illegal drugs, stolen property, firearms or ammunition unless expressly lawful and preapproved, explosives, hazardous materials requiring credentials the driver lacks, human remains, live animals, cash or negotiable instruments, or items prohibited by carrier, state, or federal law.
  • Alcohol, tobacco, controlled substances, prescription medication, high-value items, biohazard materials, specimens, dry ice, and temperature-controlled products require prior written approval, lawful packaging, identity verification, and any required licenses or training.
  • Customers may not conceal an item’s contents or hazards. Peyelis may inspect packaging to the extent permitted by law, refuse unsafe or unlawful work, and notify authorities when required.
07

Driver Standards & Contractor Notice

  • Drivers must maintain a valid license, registration, appropriate delivery-use auto insurance, safe vehicle, smartphone, and all assigned qualifications. Expired or unverifiable documents pause assignment eligibility.
  • Drivers must obey traffic and safety laws, never drive impaired or distracted, use seat belts, secure cargo, protect customer information, follow proof requirements, and report accidents, injuries, spills, loss, damage, or unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Drivers may mark Arrived at Pickup beginning 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. A pickup photo is required before an item can be marked Picked Up, and a delivery photo is required before completion.
  • If a business order is not ready, the driver must report the delay from the pickup workflow. Eligible wait pay begins after the 15-minute grace period. The default is $2.50 for each 15-minute period started, is capped by the delivery charge, and may be changed by an authorized administrator with an audit reason.
  • Drivers may accept or decline eligible offers and must not accept overlapping work they cannot safely complete. Once accepted, they must follow the status sequence and contact dispatch before abandoning or materially changing an assignment.
  • Calling a worker an independent contractor does not decide legal status. Peyelis must evaluate actual behavioral control, financial control, economic dependence, investment, opportunity for profit or loss, permanence, and the complete relationship under current federal and state law.
  • Drivers are responsible for accurate tax information and should obtain independent tax, insurance, and legal advice. Nothing on this page waives rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
08

Screening, Documents & Equal Opportunity

  • Any consumer report or background check must follow applicable disclosure, authorization, pre-adverse-action, adverse-action, dispute, and record-handling requirements. A checkbox on the general application is not a substitute for any legally required standalone notice or consent.
  • Driver decisions should use job-related, consistently applied criteria and applicable equal-opportunity requirements. Administrators must document approvals, denials, suspensions, and exceptions.
  • Medical, vehicle, insurance, training, identity, and driving-record documentation must be reviewed by an authorized administrator before eligible assignments are released.
09

Medical Courier & Confidentiality Policy

  • Approved medical categories are medical documents and sealed healthcare supplies, pharmacy-authorized non-controlled prescriptions, temperature-controlled medications, and routine laboratory specimens packaged by the submitting facility. Each request uses the separate medical workflow.
  • Controlled substances and higher-risk infectious materials are restricted. Submission creates a specialized approval request only; dispatch cannot occur until required authorization, classification, packaging, trained personnel, insurance, compliance review, and a custom quote are confirmed in writing.
  • Every medical request requires an authorized healthcare sender, chain-of-custody or order reference, sealed and ready package confirmation, pickup and recipient contacts, verified addresses, custody timestamps, recipient verification, and secure failed-delivery or return instructions.
  • Non-controlled prescriptions must be released by the dispensing pharmacy. The sender must confirm that the medication is non-controlled, properly packaged, and authorized for the named recipient or designee.
  • Temperature-controlled medications require the acceptable minimum and maximum temperature, approved packaging or monitoring method, direct handling instructions, and immediate reporting of any temperature excursion.
  • Routine specimens must be classified, sealed, leakproof, labeled, and packaged by the submitting facility. Drivers may not repackage, open, classify, or correct a specimen shipment.
  • Medical assignments are limited to specifically approved and trained drivers with current supporting documents. The system must block medical assignments when qualifications are incomplete, expired, suspended, or revoked.
  • Drivers must use secure packaging, chain-of-custody records, minimum-necessary information, appropriate temperature controls, exposure precautions, and immediate incident reporting required by the client’s written procedures.
  • Whether Peyelis is a HIPAA business associate or a conduit depends on the services and access to protected health information. Each medical client must determine and document the relationship and execute any required business associate agreement or service contract.
  • The website does not represent that Peyelis is automatically HIPAA compliant for every workflow. Medical operations require client-specific risk review, training, contracts, safeguards, and attorney/compliance approval.
10

Insurance, Accidents & Claims

  • Drivers must promptly report collisions, injuries, property damage, cargo loss, theft, temperature excursions, spills, and law-enforcement contact connected to a delivery.
  • Personal auto policies may exclude delivery activity. Drivers must provide coverage appropriate for courier use, and Peyelis should confirm its commercial auto, general liability, cargo, workers’ compensation, non-owned auto, cyber, and medical-courier coverage with licensed professionals.
  • No website statement determines whether workers’ compensation applies. Coverage obligations depend on worker status, location, headcount, contracts, and applicable law.
11

Required Professional Review Before Launch

  • A licensed attorney should review customer terms, contractor agreements, privacy notice, cancellation terms, liability limits, arbitration or venue clauses, background-check documents, medical contracts, and state-specific operations.
  • A tax professional should review worker classification, 1099/W-2 treatment, reporting, withholding, and recordkeeping.
  • A licensed insurance professional should confirm coverage for South Carolina and Georgia operations, delivery use, hired/non-owned vehicles, cargo, medical items, cyber incidents, and driver injuries.
  • Medical clients or a qualified compliance professional should approve HIPAA, chain-of-custody, specimen, temperature, biohazard, and incident-response procedures.
