Approval and eligibility
A driver is not approved until an administrator verifies identity, active license, vehicle registration, delivery-use insurance meeting Peyelis requirements, vehicle information, MVR authorization and acceptable result, required documents, and role-specific qualifications.
Approval does not permit work until assigned training is complete and the current driver policy is acknowledged. Expired, rejected, missing, or changed qualifications pause assignments. Medical and catering work requires the additional training and equipment shown in the portal.
Vehicle and assignments
Drivers enter vehicle type, year, make, model, plate, and VIN and upload registration and an insurance card or declarations page. Construction and large orders require an SUV or truck; a car or cargo van is ineligible under current Peyelis policy.
Drivers publish availability, may decline an unaccepted offer, and must not accept work they cannot safely complete. Vacation Mode requires a start and end date no more than one month apart. Accepted work follows status, timing, proof, custody, and support procedures.
Safety, confidentiality, classification, and taxes
Drivers obey traffic and safety law, secure cargo, never drive impaired or distracted, protect confidential information, and promptly report collisions, injury, damage, loss, spills, temperature excursions, privacy issues, and unsafe conditions.
These operating terms do not decide employee or independent-contractor status. Classification depends on the actual relationship and applicable law. No label waives nonwaivable wage, tax, workers’ compensation, discrimination, safety, or other rights.
Unless Peyelis provides a written employment agreement stating otherwise, the driver is responsible for reviewing self-employment taxes, business expenses, vehicle costs, insurance, permits, and recordkeeping with qualified advisers. Nothing here shifts a duty that law places on Peyelis.
